The originals didn't not at all play like this, pop in was there, but nothing like this and nothing that would interrupt game play.Maximumbeans you know it sucks on all three platforms and most people seem to agree switch actually “suffers least” whatever that means. Except this wasn't Liberty City how we remembered it, and certainly nowhere near the Liberty City we'd expect from a revamp. I've found numerous graphics glitches and the characters look terrible and either Frankenstein abominations or like dolls with a shiny plastic look. Dynamic lighting has been introduced in places, we've spotted screen-space reflections in San Andreas, combat no longer brings with it sluggish aiming or stutters, and even loading times — although still a little long in places — are absolutely better than they were. But heck, if these games get the physical they deserve and complete on card, then even I'll snaffle one up! Back before Rockstar threatened legal action on modders they had these games running much better than these embarrassing ports. Worse than this, however, are the other vehicles which tend to materialise right in front of you, giving you virtually no time to avoid them, a problem that directly affects the traversal of the open world here, and one that drains almost all of the fun out of driving — something you tend to do quite a lot of in GTA.

So, we've made a very specific exception and asked PJ to redownload the trilogy to see how it compares to the GTA Switch ports he first played just over 18 months ago. I wanna know what one sells the best in the long run across the consoles since they all came out the same day. Too much praise over patches that shouldn't have been necessary to begin with, is like condoning their actions. Guess I'm sticking with my copy of Saints Row 3 for sandbox mayhem on the go, at least for now, and I'll get the trilogy boxed on Series X next month instead.I'm also well aware of the issues of this game for every system it appears on because, in your own words, it's all over the internet. Some people are gonna defend this to the hilt, others will make those people feel like they’re playing the lead role in ‘the Emporer’s New Clothes’. I'm not sure where you are but there's the Black Friday sale in Europe starting tomorrow (almost a guarantee in the US and other territories I'd say) and I'm sure there'll be some sort of Christmas / end of year / holidays sale in a few weeks.
